Hmmm… After Elizabeth finally accepts Darcy’s proposal, “The happiness which this reply produced was such as he had probably never felt before, and he expressed himself on the occasion as sensibly and as warmly as a man violently in love can be supposed to do.” I suspect there was some serious canoodling behind a tree. Where no one could see them. But canoodling nonetheless! 😉

I am pretty sure that “expressed himself” is about words, but it could go either way!

I think most kisses happened after something happy or they just thought it was fun to sneak and kanoodle!lol

I love all of these, especially Jane and Bingley’s and Fanny’s with Edmund!

To add two more: Lydia’s and Wickham’s first kiss was sloppy and slobbery, with Wickham taking much more than he gave.

And Mr. Collins’ first kiss with Charlotte was similar: sloppy and slobbery. She closed her eyes and thought of England. 🙂

I don’t even want to think about Mr. Collins and Charlotte!
