Happy 2026. Hope you all survived the holiday season and are prepared for the new year. Personally, I am in the mood to hunker down in a nice comfy blanket, comfort food and drink a plenty, good books at my fingertips, and ignore the world outside. But who am I kidding, the older I get, the more I feel like this.

I feel the same that I may have gotten some, but probably not all. I’ve always found British slang interesting and look forward to seeing what all those terms mean.
